We have a special type of tomato that is specifically bred to grow in a basket. We use a 12″ basket, to grow both yellow and red cherry tomatoes that produce an abundance of tomatoes. The cherry tomato baskets are a great gift and are easy to grow. They prefer full sun, and due to the size they like a lot of water. You can hang the basket close to your house for easy access to delicious tomatoes and to keep them away from deer or other critters. As you can see our baskets are already setting flowers, so you will have the first homegrown tomatoes of the year.
