Catnip
  Catnip brings the good animals into the garden and keeps the pests away! Irresistible to cats and bees, it is a spreading, carefree joy in the bed or border, blooming all summer with fragrant flowers and foliage. Perennial

Chives
  The one must-have kitchen herb, chives are perfect for almost any savory dish. Snip the leaves in bunches at the base of the plant, then chop and use fresh or freeze for year-round use. The flowerheads can also be used for an even milder onion flavor – they look gorgeous in salads! Perennial

Chocolate Mint
  This is a very strong mint used for teas. Has a smell like a peppermint patty. Add fresh leaves to strawberries for a special treat! Great dried and added to black tea or used by itself. Easy to grow, spreads rapidly. Perennial

Cilantro
  This annual herb has an unmistakable strong, sharp scent and taste that has become the staple ingredient in salsa and other Mexican dishes. A member of the carrot family. Cut and dry the heads, harvesting the seeds and using them as the spice coriander. Coriander can be used whole or ground in curries, Oriental dishes, and savory baked goods.

Curly Parsley
  Parsley has been cultivated for 2,300 years and used in the kitchen. Curly parsley is great to use as a garnish. Also add small amounts to any dish to add color and interest.
All of the parsley varieties are high in Vitamins A and C and the minerals, iron and calcium.

Dill
  Dill combines the two flavors and smells of parsley and caraway into one herb! The cooling, aromatic foliage and seeds are used in a wide range of dishes, especially those with eggs, potatoes, fish, and pickling cucumbers.

Fennel
  A hardy, perennial, umbelliferous herb, with yellow flowers and feathery leaves. It is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb with culinary and medicinal uses and, along with the similar-tasting anise. Perennial

Italian Basil
  A very popular versatile herb. Both fresh and dried leaves are used in seasoning meat, poultry, fish, many Italian tomato and pasta dishes. It is also used in salads, dressings and is the main ingredient in pesto sauce. Basil is wonderfully fragrant growing in the garden as well as spicy in your cooking. 12 to 18 inches in height.

Italian Parsley
  Specially developed for use as fresh seasoning, the large, bright green leaves arise on 10- to 12-inch plants. Flat-leafed Parsley is far more nutritious than the curly type. Harvest it as needed, but fairly regularly so that the plants keep sprouting new stems.

Lavender
  An evergreen perennial, Lavender has a subtle blue-green coloring and sweet fragrance. Reaching 12 to 18 inches high and 18 to 24 inches wide, it boasts 2 1/2 inch, linear, downy leaves on strong stems. Lavender is one of the richest in essential oils, meaning more fragrance power both fresh and dried. We carry elegance lavender and blue scent varieties this year. Perennial

Lemon Balm
  Because of its delicate lemon flavor, lemon balm has a wide culinary potential. Apart from using fresh leaves as an attractive garnish, Chopped fresh leaves can be used to to add zest to sweet or tangy dishes. A clump-forming herbaceous perennial with heart shaped, deeply veined leaves that are covered with stiff hairs, it grows up to 1-2 feet high. Perennial

Lime Basil
  Lime basil is sweet and fragrant with a mild citrus taste. The lime scent of the bright green, lance-shaped leaves pair perfectly with lemon basil for a full explosion of tangy fresh flavor. Excellent for flavoring sauces, dressings and desserts.

Mojito Mint
  A large leave and strong taste, make Mojito mint perfect for what else, Mojitos. Perennial

Oregano
  Pungently aromatic, oregano is one of the most important herbs of Italian, Greek, and Mexican cooking. Mainly used dry, the flavor is strong enough to stand up to bold flavors like tomatoes, onion, garlic, and beef. Perennial

Peppermint
  Strongly aromatic peppermint can be used in both cooking & in drinks, salads, and baked goods; and in potpourri and other fragrant decorative items. In hot tea, it is said to help stomach upset. Peppermint like other mints is a spreading perennial that can really cover an area. Perennial

Pluto Basil
  Pluto Basil is a tasty and ornamental Greek Basil with a very neat mounded habit which is maintained naturally. Highly fragrant foliage and attractive growth makes it an appealing plant for your containers, patio gardens and window boxes.

Rosemary
  Small evergreen shrub of the mint family whose leaves are used to flavor foods. Rosemary leaves have a tealike fragrance and a pungent, slightly bitter taste. They are generally used sparingly, dried or fresh, to season foods, particularly lamb, duck, chicken, sausages, seafood, stuffings, stews, soups, potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, other vegetables, and beverages. Ruby Red Basil
  Dark opal resembles a glossy-leafed, burgundy-and-purple coleus with pink flowers. While this two-foot annual is great for landscapes, it can also add a hint of exotic color to culinary favorites such as Italian Caprese or spring garden salads.

Sage
  Sage is terrific in stuffing, cheese, and meat dishes, and is a main source of flavor in sausages. Sage is a shrubby evergreen perennial that forms many side branches of velvety-textured, wrinkled, gray-green leaves about 2 inches long. Spikes of 1/2-inch violet, pink, to white flowers appear in summer. The plant matures to 24-32 inches high and 36 inches wide. Perennial

Spearmint
  A strong flavor and aroma make Spearmint a great choice for hot and cold drinks. Bruise the leaves a bit, then add to your favorite beverage. Perennial

Thai Basil
  Try it as a flavorful garnish for sweet dishes. Green, 2″ long leaves have a spicy, anise-clove flavor. Attractive purple stems and blooms.

Thyme
  Thyme is essential in French cooking, as well as in almost any American dish, including casseroles, most vegetables, soups, stuffings, and sauces. The aromatic, warming flavor holds up well during long cooking times. We have English Thyme and Winter Thyme. Perennial
