Acorn Squash Royal Ace
  Royal Ace Acorn Squash produce uniform size and shape acorn squash that have an attractive dark green color. The foliage is thicker than other varieties and have great powdery mildew resistance.

Arugula Astro
  A slow bolting, vigorous grower, Arugula Astro has a distinctly nutty flavor and medium green color. Very popular in French and Italian cooking, Arugula gives a spicy taste to salad, especially young leaves.

Beets Red Ace
  The best all-around red beet with round, smooth, deep red roots. Red Ace Beets are medium tall, red veined with a sweet tender taste. It is rumored that Red Ace is the most popular beet at Schrute Farms.

Broccoli Diplomat
  Diplomat broccoli are medium to large heads with nice small beads.

Broccoli Imperial
  Broccoli Imperial are semi dome shaped with tight, small dark green beads that stay fresh long after they are cut.

Brussel Sprouts Jade Cross E
  An earlier variety with excellent flavor and abundant yield, makes Jade Cross a good choice. Brussel Sprouts are a late fall harvest, so patience is required after planting. A moderate to heavy frost helps to produce a sweeter tasting sprout.

Bunching Onions Warrior
  Warrior bunching onions are very easy to grow and quickly produces slender, crispy, 1/2″ onion stalks. Very good to eat raw with a bit of salt or in a variety of dishes.

Butternut Squash Betternut 900 F1 Farmore
  Betternut 900 is an ideal variety for the boxing market. Semi-bush plants produce 3 lb. fruit that are 8-9″ long. The uniform fruit have good flesh color and a light tan rind color. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.

Cabbage Bravo
  Bravo is our favorite cabbage variety because it can be picked small or large and it won’t split.

Cabbage Ruby Perfection
  Ruby Perfection Cabbage is the best mid to late red cabbage. The heads are medium-sized and dense with a uniform high-round shape and good wrapper leaves.

Cabbage Savoy King
  An early savoy type cabbage, is Savoy king with heads up to 4 lbs. Savoy king is a heavy producer of large headed cabbage that are semi-flat, short-cored, and nice krinkle leaves.

Cantaloupe Superstar
  A very large cantaloupe (muskmelon) with superb flavor. The cantaloupes are 6 to 8 lbs and are a very popular at Farmer’s Markets.

Cauliflower Snow Crown
  Snow-white, 2-lb. heads are 7-8 in. across and very flavorful.

Celery Giant Pascal
  One of the best yielding celery, Giant Pascal is an exceptional choice. With it’s rich nutty flavor, large/thick stalks, Giant Pascal is a great choice for your garden.

Cucumber Bush Crop
  Delicious cucumbers 6 to 8 inches long on dwarf bushy plants. Fruits are crisp, tender and good tasting. Ideal for containers or small gardens.

Cucumber Eureka
  Uniform, crisp fruits are very green from the earliest stages, making this a marvelous pickling variety when fruits are 1-1/2 to 5″ long. Harvest for salads when tiny, or at any stage up to full maturity at 7 inches. Trellising or growing on a fence makes for the best crop of cucumbers.

Cucumber Pick a Bushel
  Early to set fruit, offers a prolific quantity of fruit and is a compact bush-type cucumber spreading only about 24 inches. Pick a Bushel offers a sweeter tasting light-green cucumber with a nice firm texture, perfect for pickling when harvested early. Fruits left on the bush-type vines longer can get up to 6” long and can be enjoyed fresh in salads.

Cucumber Straight Eight
  Straight Eight Cucumbers are a heirloom variety named for its perfectly straight 8″ cucumbers. Straight Eights are great for slicing and loved for the flavor.

Cucumber Tasty Green
  Burpless cucumbers that are dark green with smooth skin and small white spines is Tasty Green. Cucumbers are best when harvested when they are 9″ – 10″, and great to grow on a trellis.

Eggplant Black Beauty
  Black Beauty Eggplant is a tender and tasty purplish black fruit that is excellent breaded or fried. A heirloom variety grows approximately 18-24″ and fruits are 4-5″

Eggplant Millionaire
  Millionaire Egglant is a Japanese type eggplant, ie slender 2″ diameter by 8″-10″ long fruit. The shape makes for easier slicing.

Fennel Orazio
  Orazio Fennel produces a large, thick round bulbs. The anise flavor and crispness and high yield make Orazio fennel a great choice.

Kale Scarlet
  Kale has seen a major reemergence as people are discovering all kinds of new ways to use it. Scarlet Kale is a nice purple-red variety that has a nice taste and great color.

Kale Vates
  An early Kale variety, Vates lasts even through severe cold. Plant gets approximately 15″ tall and is great for salads, kale chips, or shredded in a smoothy.

Kohlrabi Winner
  Kohlrabi Winner is the best tasting white kohlrabi with it fresh, fruity flavor. Winner holds well in the field without splitting and grow to approximately 18 oz.

Leek Megaton
  Megaton Leeks produce thick white shanks, and a delicious flavor. Megaton is resistant to bulbing, splitting, and bolting, so a great choice for our area.

Lettuce Great Lakes
  The most popular head lettuce for home gardeners, Great Lakes delivers tight round heads. The crisp lighter colored inner leavers are very tender and nice taste.

Lettuce Harmony MTO
  Harmony Crunch lettuce is a uniform butterhead with a large head and a smooth glossy green leaf.

Lettuce Harris Blend
  This blend is a formulated combination of six different lettuce varieties, and it offers a stunning mix of colors, textures, and leaf shapes. Varieties included are: Cimmaron, Red Salad Bowl, Tango, Slobolt, Green Salad Bowl, and Royal Oakleaf. This blend balances green and red tones, and it combines refined, smooth leaves with ruffled leaves that provide loft and body to the mix.

Lettuce Parris Island
  Parris Island is the standard for green romaine lettuce. With its dark green leaves and good flavor, Parris Island is great in a salad, especially Caesar salads. A heirloom variety with 8″-12″ heads.

Lettuce Red Sails
  A very tasty and colorful lettuce, Red Sails is perfect for salads. A quick growing and good bolt resistance, its no wonder red sails is a favorite for backyard gardens.

Lettuce Simpson Elite
  Simpson Elite is my favorite lettuce, with its crisp texture and flavor, is excellent in a chicken salad. A very fast grower with crinkly lighter green leaves, a must for any garden.

Onion Burgundy
  Burgundy produces colorful red onions that have a diameter of about 4″. With its mild sweet flavor, its great on a sandwich or in a salad.

Onion Candy
  Candy onions much like the name are extra sweet and mild, making for a great onion. Onions are flat globes approximately 3″-4″ and yellow in color.

Pak Choi Mei Qing Choi
  With vigorous early growth and a nice tight vase-like shape Mei Qing Choi is an excellent choice for both heat and cold tolerance. With great flavor and extra tender, it is best harvested as baby pak choi

Pickle Bush Crop
  Compact and bushy plants with cucumbers at just 4″ long are perfect for pickling. Light to medium green with a crisp, tender flavor make Bush Pickle a great choice for a smaller space or container growing.

Pumpkin Cargo
  The perfect pumpkin for carving a large jack-o’-lantern for Halloween, Cargo Pumpkin. The deep orange color pumpkins average 20-25 lbs.

Radish Cherry Belle
  A quick grower of round, smooth scarlet red radishes make Cherry Belle a good choice. The radishes are about 3/4″ diameter and have crisp, white flesh on the inside.

Spaghetti Squash
  A great alternative to pasta, try our highly productive Spaghetti Squash. With 3-5lb oblong fruit, spaghetti squash can be baked or boiled.

Spinach Avon
  Popeye says Avon is one of his favorite types of Spinach. Avon Spinach is quick growing and has large, tender dark green leaves.

Spinach Flamingo
  A slow bolting, Asian leaf spinach, Flamingo is a great choice for bunching. Flamingo Spinach has uniform, smooth dark-green leaves on long stems. Also, one of Popeye’s other favorite spinaches.

Sweet Corn Honey n Pearl
  An early and very tender bicolor corn with great taste/sweetness and huge 9″ ears.

Swiss Chard Prima Rossa
  Bright red foliage and quick growing make Swiss Chard Prima Rossa a great choice. Use in salads to add great color and taste, plant is most tender when picked early.

Watermelon Crimson Sweet
  Crimson Sweet produces large 25 lb. watermelons that are light green with dark green stripes. The red watermelon is very sweet and crisp and due to the size is a great watermelon for a party.

Yellow Squash Slick Pik
  Slick Pik yellow squash is an early variety with spineless leaf petioles, which makes it both easier to pick and less blemishes on the fruit. A little longer than a lot of yellow squash varieties and great flavor, Slick Pik is a great for your backyard garden.

Zucchini Elite
  Zucchini Elite is the standard for medium green zucchini, due to yield and quality. With it’s early production and delicious 7-8″ zucchini, Elite is a great variety.
